Armenia Security Council secretary Armen Grigoryan declined to respond to reporters’ questions on the sidelines of the Comprehensive Security & Resilience International Conference – 2025 that kicked off Monday in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

In particular, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter asked why the third anniversary of the Azerbaijani occupation of Armenia’s territories was not noted in any way, and why there was no respective visit to Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan.

Grigoryan was attempting to explain for a long time that the aforementioned international conference was starting and he had to prepare for it.

He added that he would not answer reporters’ questions after this event either.

And to the remark that many people give interviews before the event starts, the Security Council chief said: “It is normal that everyone gives interviews, I do not see any problem here. Please give me the opportunity to prepare for participation in the event and start the event.”
