A quite specific partnership has been formed between Armenia and China, and this partnership should develop, including through mutual investment opportunities, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters Thursday.

And as the most important document of this partnership, Pashinyan noted the strategic partnership agreement between Armenia and China, which was signed as a result of his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Strategic partnership means that business communities receive a positive political signal to develop relations in the economy and other sectors, Pashinyan said.

“Our partners simply need to take advantage of these opportunities. Of course, it is obvious that there are limitations related to distance and transport, but I am confident that the unblocking of regional infrastructure will enable resolving a considerable part of this problem. Imagine a possibility to load cargo onto trains in Armenia and unload them in China. It is a completely different economic situation, and one of our tasks is to record this situation also," added the Armenian premier.
