The European Union (EU) Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos. will visit Armenia on Friday and Saturday.

The visit comes at a crucial phase in the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and will provide an opportunity to present the EU’s interregional connectivity agenda as a real contribution to regional development.

Commissioner Kos will meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, and Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan.

Also, she will attend the signing ceremony of two projects with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, visit the EU4SEVAN biodiversity project site, and tour the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies.

In addition, the Commissioner will meet with Armenian civil society organizations, women leaders, and young European ambassadors.
