Dialogue is the best method of conflict resolution and prevention. This was stated by the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, at the opening of the 108th Rose-Roth Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which is being held in Armenia’s capital Yerevan.

Grigoryan began his address by thanking the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and all participants for promoting dialogue and cooperation at the global and regional levels.

“Dialogue is the best method of conflict resolution and prevention,” noted the head of the Security Council of Armenia noted. He said it is symbolic that this seminar is being held after the summit held in Washington on August 8, as a result of which peace, which the people had been waiting for for a long time, was established in the South Caucasus.

Now, Grigoryan continued, it is necessary to work towards the institutionalization of peace in order to ensure its long-term stability. Unblocking communications in the region plays an important role in this matter. To this end, Armenia has presented the Crossroads of Peace project, which has been lauded by partners. The “Trump Route,” on which an agreement was also reached at the summit in Washington, will also serve the same purpose, stated the secretary of the Armenian Security Council.
