Everything that leads to something positive takes time, and we are sure that the two peoples are against the conflict and Azerbaijan is ready to start the process of normalizing of relations and coexistence with Armenia. Delegate representing Azerbaijan, and founder of the Topchubashov Center, Murad Muradov, told this to reporters Monday, on the margins of the 108th Rose-Roth Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which is being held in Armenia’s capital Yerevan.

In general, societies are giving a positive gesture so that coexistence with each other can proceed on a more positive and optimistic background, Muradov added.

When asked whether, as a step towards peace, the Azerbaijani military is going to withdraw from Armenia’s sovereign territories it occupies since between 2021 and 2023, the Azerbaijani delegate replied that in general, one can say that both Azerbaijan and Armenia fully recognize and appreciate each other's territorial integrity.

As for the occupied territories, border delimitation is not a one-way process, but is being carried out in phases. Over time, certain enclaves or territories must change. Both Armenia and Azerbaijan must withdraw from certain territories, and a certain change of territories must occur, added Murad Muradov.
