I am very grateful to Trump; he has very important information about the situation on the front lines, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after a meeting with US President Donald Trump, UNIAN reports.

"Now he [i.e. Trump] trusts me much more [than Russian President Vladimir Putin]," he added.

"We understand President Trump is willing to give Ukraine security guarantees after the war is finished," Zelenskyy noted 

"We discussed [with Trump] several promising ideas to bring peace closer, and I hope they will deliver quick results," the Ukrainian president emphasized.
