The Russian State Duma has passed, in the first reading, a bill on conducting conscription in Russia throughout the calendar year, RBC reports.
The draft law proposes to conduct conscription in Russia from January 1 to December 31.
According to these amendments, this period will include not only being called to military registration and enlistment offices, but also medical examinations, professional psychological tests, and meetings of conscription commissions.
