The government of Armenia made a decision at its Cabinet meeting Thursday, by which it will appoint a prosecutor (representative)—under the embassy of Armenia in the Netherlands—for cooperation with the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust).

The respective agreement envisages establishing direct contact between Eurojust and the competent authorities of Armenia, which will contribute to the exchange of information and data necessary to ensure the smooth progress of operations aimed at detecting cross-border crimes.
