Last night, passengers of a flight from Moscow to Saint Petersburg, Russia were evacuated from a Sukhoi Superjet aircraft that was preparing to take off from the Russian capital's Sheremetyevo International Airport due to a collision with another passenger plane on the runway, the Rossiya Airlines press service told Kommersant daily of Russia.

“Passengers were evacuated to the airport terminal building, and boarding into the spare aircraft for the flight to Saint Petersburg began at 23:08 Moscow time,” the Rossiya Airlines press service added.

There were about 100 people on board the aforesaid aircraft at the time of the collision, according to the Shot account on Telegram. The tail of this Sukhoi Superjet was damaged as a result of this collision.
