Famous Russian Armenian filmmaker, TV and radio host Tigran Keosayan has died, informed his wife, Margarita Simonyan, Russian Armenian chief editor of the Russia Today (RT) media group and RT television, RIA Novosti reports.

“This evening, Tigran went to be with the Creator,” Simonyan wrote on Telegram.

In early January, Simonyan had announced that her husband had suffered a clinical death and was in a coma.

Keosayan was born on January 4, 1966, in Moscow.
