The National Assembly of Armenia kicked off its regular four-day sessions Tuesday.

There are 14 matters on the agenda, and four of them will be debated on in the second reading.

In addition the draft law on amending the Criminal Code of Armenia, which refers to the punishment for publicly denying, mitigating, approving, justifying, or downplaying the Armenian Genocide, as well as genocides, or crimes against humanity, recognized by Armenia or internationally, is on the agenda, at the initiative of the opposition "Armenia" Faction.

This matter will be discussed at the second main session on Tuesday.
