Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Arsen Torosyan, on Tuesday met with Turkey’s Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, on the margins of the RISE Regional Forum being held in the Serbian capital Belgrade, informs the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.

Several matters of mutual interest in the social protection domain were discussed during the talk.

The parties spoke about the sectoral priorities of the two countries and the respective work being carried out. In this context, interlocutors emphasized the importance of expanding the scope and improving the quality of social services.

The parties touched upon also the process of normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations, and expressed hope that sectoral cooperation will also contribute to this.

And at the end of the meeting, the two parties expressed their willingness to exchange experience and develop cooperation.
