Explosions and shootings have occurred in Munich, Germany, and one dead body has been found, and another person was injured, Bild reports

Police and firefighters were out in large numbers along Munich's Lerchenauer Strasse arterial road on Wednesday morning, but there is currently no danger to the public in the city known for Oktoberfest, according to a police spokesperson, Reuters reports.

The road has been widely cordoned off due to the major police and firefighter operations, added the spokesperson.
