Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent congratulatory messages to President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang of China on the latter’s 76th anniversary of founding, the PM’s office informs.
The message addressed to the President Xi reads as follows, in particular:
“The achievements recorded in various spheres of Armenia-China cooperation in recent years are also the result of mutual commitment and joint continuous efforts, thanks to which the bilateral relations between our countries were raised to a qualitatively new level—strategic partnership.
I remember with gratitude the warm welcome I received in China a month ago and the fruitful discussions I had with you on bilateral relations and regional developments. Undoubtedly, the results of the visit and the agreements reached at a high level open a new historical page in the bilateral interstate relations between Armenia and China.
I am confident that through joint efforts we will give additional impetus to the further deepening of the upwardly developing relations between our countries, anchored in mutual trust and respect, enriching the framework of strategic partnership with ambitious goals and directions.”
And the message addressed to Premier Li reads as follows, in part:
“I am pleased to note that the centuries-old friendship between Armenia and China, anchored in mutual respect, trust and strong historical ties, has entered a qualitatively new level with the strategic partnership established between our countries, which provides an opportunity to outline the ways for further development of cooperation between our countries in all areas of mutual interest.
I am confident that in the future our bilateral relations will continue to expand, recording new achievements.”
