Luxury carmaker Bentley has confirmed that a new version of its flagship sports coupe, the Continental Supersports focused on extreme performance, will be launched soon, Autocar reports.

The new model will be powered by a 4.0-liter V8 internal combustion engine that will produce more than 640 horsepower and will be the first in a series of new “extreme” performance cars from the brand.

The new Continental Supersports will be lighter and more “aggressive” than the standard GT version.

The prototypes are already being tested in Germany, and they have unique design elements such as a large rear spoiler and a quad exhaust system.

The consumer version, however, is expected to look more unique compared to the recently updated standard Continental GT.

The new model is scheduled for launch in late 2025.

The new Continental Supersports will serve as a showcase for Bentley's new line of high-performance cars, designed for dynamic driving enthusiasts.
