The investigation into the case of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) employee Ashkhen Arakelyan, accused of treason, has been completed and sent to court, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

On June 20, based on a report received from the National Security Service, the Investigative Committee had launched a criminal investigation into the committing of treason by an employee of the MFA by way of espionage, creating conditions for a representative of a foreign country to get familiarized with information containing state secrets, and providing assistance in carrying out hostile activities.
