Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent a congratulatory message to Chancellor Friedrich Merz of Germany on the latter’s national holiday, Unity Day, the PM’s office informs. 

The congratulatory message reads as follows, in particular:

“Armenia greatly values the friendly relations and effective cooperation established with Germany both at the bilateral level and in multilateral formats.

I warmly recall my meeting with you this spring on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit. I am confident that through joint efforts we will continue to expand multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.

We highly appreciate Germany’s continued support for Armenia’s democratic reforms, sustainable development, and the further deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership.”
