Chinese automaker Zeekr has unveiled an upgraded version of its electric vehicle (EV), featuring a redesigned platform and cutting-edge 900V technology that delivers up to 805 kilometers of range on a single charge, Interesting Engineering reports.
This makes this EV one of the most promising long-range ones on the market. The new model’s battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes, making the refueling process nearly as quick and convenient as filling up a conventional gasoline car.
Equipped with an all-wheel-drive system for improved handling across all road conditions, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.83 seconds — performance on par with some of the world’s fastest sports cars.
The car weighs approximately 2,100 kilograms, which is quite standard for an EV with such a battery and all-wheel drive system. The car can reach high speeds and maintains stable operation of the system during long journeys, thanks to improved aerodynamics and reduced air resistance.
Inside, the updated Zeekr features a luxuriously upgraded interior, including advanced digital displays, a next-generation multimedia system, state-of-the-art driver-assistance technologies, and premium materials designed for maximum comfort. The manufacturer emphasizes that attention was paid not only to technology, but also to passenger comfort, including a spacious rear seat and optimized luggage compartment space.
Zeekr has also announced plans to integrate new autonomous driving capabilities and advanced safety systems in future updates. The 805-kilometer range and fast charging speed make this model attractive for both urban and long-distance travel. Blending sporty dynamics, advanced technology, and environmental sustainability, Zeekr’s latest EV positions itself as a formidable contender in the global EV market — and a testament to China’s growing influence in the long-range EV segment.
