The US government will impose tariffs on all medium- and heavy-duty trucks imported from other countries, starting November 1, President Donald Trump has announced.

“Beginning November 1st, 2025, all Medium and Heavy Duty Trucks coming into the United States from other Countries will be Tariffed at the Rate of 25%,” the US president said in a post on his Truth Social platform.

On September 25, Trump had announced that starting October 1, the US would impose a 25% tariff on all heavy-trucks made elsewhere in the world.
