One of the main outcomes of the Washington summit was the opening of the “Zangezur corridor,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during his address at the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, Azerbaijani media report.

“The Zangezur corridor is important as a new transport artery, and serves as a second route both within the framework of the Middle Corridor and the North-South Corridor,” the Azerbaijani president added.
