“They proposed it, and I agreed,” Vahagn Arsenyan told reporters after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government—and referring to his appointment as governor of Vayots Dzor Province.
Before this appointment, Arsenyan served as the mayor of Jermuk city.
He added that he has very good relations with the former governor of Vayots Dzor.
Also, Arsenyan stated that he believes the Azerbaijani-occupied territories of Jermuk can be freed through border delimitation.
