Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso, within the framework of the second edition of the Global Gateway Forum in Brussels.

The interlocutors discussed the current programs and the prospects of development of cooperation between Armenia and the EBRD, the Armenian PM’s office informs.

Pashinyan underscored the EBRD’s engagement in various sectors of Armenia’s economy, particularly in initiatives aimed at developing infrastructure, energy, communications, and digital technology.

In turn, Renaud-Basso stressed that the EBRD will continue to actively support the Armenian government’s strategic reforms and programs that contribute to the development of the potential of the country’s private sector.

The parties exchanged views also on new opportunities in improving green energy, sustainable development, and the investment environment.
