Azerbaijani defense minister Zakir Hasanov, as part of his official visit to Turkey, met with Turkish national defense minister Yasar Guler in Ankara, Azerbaijani media report.

The parties noted that the fraternal and strategic allied relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully developing in all domains, including the military sphere.

The importance of such meetings in the strengthening of bilateral ties was emphasized, and confidence was expressed in the successful development of cooperation.

Regional issues were also discussed.
