A phone conversation between Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will take place once an agreement is reached, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has announced.

“There is still no specific arrangement regarding the phone call. As soon as it is reached, the conversation will take place,” Peskov said, in response to a question from reporters about Trump’s statement on a possible discussion with Putin regarding Tomahawk missiles.

Earlier, Trump told reporters that he might discuss with Putin the possible delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. According to the US president, Washington could provide those missiles to the Ukrainian armed forces if the conflict in Ukraine is not resolved.
