The Kremlin has confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday will hold talks with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, who will be on a working visit to Moscow.
“The current state of Russian-Syrian relations and prospects for development in the political, trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres, as well as recent developments in the Middle East are planned to be discussed,” the respective statement added.
Earlier, Syrian media had reported on al-Sharaa's upcoming visit to Moscow.
