Representatives of the Road Department Foundation are participating in a training course on tunnel engineering and technologies designed for countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the department reported.

The participants include Izabella Muradyan, head of the construction program for the 8 km section of Tranche 2 of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program; Artur Sanoyan, head of the construction program for the northern section of the Sisian–Kajaran road under Tranche 4; and Karen Babayan, coordinating engineer of Tranche 3 of the same program.

The course is taking place in Fuzhou, China, from October 11 to 24.

During the training, representatives of the Road Department Foundation are getting acquainted with international best practices in tunnel construction, operation, and management, as well as the latest technologies in the field.
