On the night of October 21, Ukrainian drones attacked Russia’s Rostov region, according to Governor Yuri Slusar and the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry reported that 34 drones were detected and destroyed over the region.

Slusar stated that on the Western Highway in Bataysk, the wall of a multi-story apartment building partially collapsed. No casualties were reported, and 20 residents were evacuated. Later, it was confirmed that the building’s foundation structures were intact, allowing residents to return to their homes. Drone fragments also fell in the courtyards of apartment buildings on Oktyabrskaya Street, damaging windows but causing no injuries.

In Don Rostov, a minor suffered shrapnel injuries in the Proletarsky district due to drones hitting two private houses.

The drones also struck the Voronezh region. Governor Alexander Gusev reported that nine drones were intercepted there. No casualties were reported, though “elements of an industrial facility” were damaged in one of the districts. Further details were not provided.
