U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking at a White House Rose Garden luncheon for Republican members of Congress, recounted how he was once called “the third-best president of the United States.”
According to Trump, when asked who the first two were, the person replied: George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
“It’s very hard to surpass Washington and Lincoln, but we’ll try. After all, they didn’t fight eight wars. It’s the ninth’s turn,” the president said.
