The dates for a summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump have not yet been determined, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated, according to Kommersant.

He emphasized that the meeting requires careful preparation, which takes time.

“The dates have not been set. That still needs to happen,” Peskov told journalists. “Before that, thorough preparation is necessary. That takes time.”

Earlier, U.S. media, citing White House sources, reported that preparations for the Russia–U.S. summit in Budapest, Hungary, have been paused.

It should be recalled that the agreement to hold the meeting was reached during a phone call between Putin and Trump on October 16.
