Sweden intends to sell Ukraine a very large number of the latest JAS 39 Gripen E fighter jets, Swedish TV channel TV4 Nyheterna reported. According to the information, the deal could involve 120 aircraft.

This would be twice as many as Sweden has ever sold before. Currently, Sweden can sell just over 10 units of the Gripen C/D version.

The JAS 39 Gripen E is the latest version of the Swedish fighter developed by Saab. The model features a more powerful engine, longer flight range, and more advanced radar and electronics compared to previous versions.
