U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that reports in The Wall Street Journal claiming Washington had lifted a key restriction on Ukraine’s use of certain Western missiles to strike deep into Russia are false.

“The Wall Street Journal’s report that the U.S. allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike inside Russia is fake news,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “The U.S. has nothing to do with these missiles, regardless of where they come from or what Ukraine does with them,” he asserted.
