Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, met with Gérard Larcher, President of the French Senate.

The meeting was attended by Cédric Perrin, Chair of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Armed Forces; Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, Chair of the France-Armenia Friendship Group in the Senate; and Alain Cadet, Vice-Chair of the Senate Committee on European Affairs.

The interlocutors discussed the development of strategic partnership between Armenia and France, emphasizing that the dynamically developing relations cover all key sectors. Upcoming tasks were also discussed.

The meeting included a detailed discussion on developments in the South Caucasus. Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments, Armenia’s vision for regional development under the peace established with Azerbaijan, including the optimal realization of its potential as an important communications hub.
