On October 22, a taxi driver contacted the Police Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to report that a passenger had attempted to pay the fare with a counterfeit 20,000 AMD banknote on Khudyakov Street in Yerevan.

Officers from the Avan Division of the Community Police carried out operational and investigative measures and identified the suspect as a 25-year-old resident of Yeghvard. He was located, arrested, and taken to the police station.

The relevant documents have been submitted to the investigative authorities.
