At present, quite intensive work is being carried out with the United States on the implementation of the “Trump Route” project. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this today during the debates on the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2026” in the National Assembly.

“Of course, the project is new for us and for the region; it has many nuances, and I am convinced that we will discuss, find solutions to these issues as quickly as possible and implement that program,” he added.

Also, Pashinyan quoted from the project, noting: “Article 3, which we cite, specifically states: ‘We reaffirmed the importance of opening communications for domestic, bilateral, and interstate transportation between the two countries—namely, Armenia and Azerbaijan—based on respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction of states, with the aim of promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in and around the region. These efforts will include unimpeded communication between the main part of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic through the territory of the Republic of Armenia, with reciprocal advantages for the Republic of Armenia in terms of international and domestic communication.’

And Article 4 states: ‘The Republic of Armenia will work with the United States of America and mutually agreed third parties to define the framework for implementing, within the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) communication project. We affirm our determination to take all measures in good faith to achieve this goal as quickly as possible.’”
