“We are currently holding discussions related to the ‘Trump Route.’ And at the moment when it becomes necessary to move on to directives concerning work with communities and provinces, we will do so; it's not that phase yet.” The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Davit Khudatyan, told this to reporters at the National Assembly today.

“In Syunik [Province], we are implementing other large-scale infrastructure programs in which both the province and the communities are involved. Specifically, it’s about the Resilient Syunik program, within the framework of which educational, as well as water sector-related infrastructure modernization projects, healthcare infrastructure modernization programs will soon be launched.

Our major and main project is the North-South road corridor; and at this phase, the largest segment continues to be implemented in Syunik Province. I have just presented to the MPs and the public that in 2026, two major projects will be launched, and therefore, for quite a long time in the foreseeable future, Syunik will remain our main construction direction,” Khudatyan stated.
