US President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that although he is currently focused on trade negotiations with China, he may return to the region to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Reuters reports.

During his trip to Asia, Trump had previously expressed a desire to meet with Kim, although North Korea has not yet responded. Despite the US president’s assurances, his administration had earlier stated that Donald Trump was not planning to meet with Kim Jong Un during his Asian tour.
