The fourth meeting of the EU-Armenia Investment Coordination Platform was held at the Armenian government, the latter informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The event was co-chaired by Mher Grigoryan, Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister, and Adrienn Kiraly, Director for Eastern Neighbourhood and Turkey at the Directorate-General for European Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission of the European Union (EU).

The Armenian deputy PM delivered opening remarks, lauded the level of Armenia’s relations with the EU, and emphasized the importance of the aforesaid platform in that context.

“The Armenia-European Union political dialogue and the expanding partnership agenda are based on aligned approaches aimed at sustainable development, economic growth, and enhancing regional resilience. This platform brings together the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the European Union, and international financial institutions, promoting investments that contribute to sustainable development and economic growth,” said Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

During the ensuing discussion, progress through the implementation of the Economic Investment Plan was presented, and current and planned investment projects were addressed.
