President Donald Trump announced that he instructed the Pentagon to immediately begin testing US nuclear weapons.

The White House leader emphasized on Truth Social that the US possesses more nuclear weapons than any other country.

“This was accomplished, including a complete update and renovation of existing weapons, during my First Term in office,” Trump added.

The US president noted that because of the “tremendous destructive power” of nuclear weapons, he “HATED to do it, but had no choice!”

According to Trump, Russia ranks second in terms of nuclear weapons, and China is a distant third, but Beijing will be even with Moscow within five years.

“Because of other countries testing programs, I have instructed the Department of War to start testing our Nuclear Weapons on an equal basis. That process will begin immediately,” the US president concluded.
