Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Stella Renita, the newly appointed head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) regional representation for the South Caucasus.

Congratulating Renita on her appointment, the deputy premier lauded Armenia’s cooperation established with the EIB, and emphasized the importance of the projects being jointly implemented, the Armenian government’s press service reports.

During the meeting, the details of current projects and possible new areas of cooperation were discussed. Also, the deputy PM highlighted the EIB programs aimed at private sector development in Armenia. Attention was given to the Crossroads of Peace initiative of the Armenian government and the opportunities for unblocking regional communications.
