Prince Andrew will leave his home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor following official notice of termination of his lease, the Buckingham Palace has announced, The Guardian reports.

King Charles has initiated the formal process to revoke Prince Andrew’s style, titles, and honors; he will henceforth be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Andrew has not objected to this process, PA reports. His links to the pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein continue to spark controversy.

It is understood that although Andrew denies the allegations, Buckingham Palace believes that serious errors of judgment were made.

According to the BBC, Prince Andrew is expected to move to Sandringham — the private estate in Norfolk, which will be privately funded by the King. Andrew’s former wife, Sarah Ferguson, will also move out of the Royal Lodge and will furnish her new residence independently.

The move will take place soon, and Andrew will receive appropriate personal support from the King, while all other sources of income will depend on the former Duke. The Prince of Wales agrees with the King’s decision. Personal factors, particularly social security considerations, were a central part of the discussions surrounding these measures.
