The decision to establish an Armenian commission on opening communications between Armenia and Azerbaijan and to approve the individual composition of this commission has been revised by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s decision.

The commission is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan. Its members include Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan’s wife Gohar Abajyan, and several officials.

To note, Gohar Abajyan was recently appointed director of Enterprise Armenia (“Investment Support Center” Foundation).

There is another “newcomer” in the commission — former chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Karen Andreasyan, who was dismissed from that position last year. Andreasyan recently was appointed Armenia’s representative for international legal matters.
