The government of Armenia, at Thursday’s cabinet meeting, decided that the Ministry of Defense (MoD) will receive an additional 4,370,636 drams (approx. US$11,425) this year.
The explanation for this decision states that for the execution of a number of contractual obligations undertaken this year under capital expenditures by the MoD (this information is presented as top secret in the draft), to allocate an additional amount of 4,370,636 drams from the funds of the National Security Service of Armenia to the 31,001st event of the 1169th program being implemented by the MoD.
The funds will be directed to the policies carried out in this field to ensure Armenia’s defense, security, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of its borders.
It is also noted that the adoption of this decision does not lead to changes in the annual revenues and expenditures of Armenia’s 2025 state budget.
