Iran has been assured that there will be no threat to it regarding the Zangezur issue. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during a meeting with university students in the city of Hamadan, reports Tasnim.

“We [i.e. Iran] do not accept any changes to the borders or geopolitics of the region, and believe that the best way to ensure regional security is regional cooperation — and our idea [in that regard] is the 3+3 format. We are in direct contact regarding the Zangezur issue, and we have been assured that there will be no threat to Iran. Of course, we are monitoring the situation,” said the Iranian FM.
