Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on the possibility of another meeting between Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.

“It is hardly possible now to predict when those conditions will be created. Although, of course, we are all interested in those conditions being created sooner rather than later,” Peskov said, responding to an RIA Novosti question about how soon and under what circumstances a suitable moment might arise for another meeting between the leaders of Russia and the United States.

Peskov noted that preparations must be carried out and the necessary conditions must be created for such meeting. “As soon as this preparatory work is completed and the conditions for holding the summit are in place, we hope it will take place,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.
