Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the chair of the Global Leadership Foundation (GLF), former New Zealand Prime Minister and former head of the UN Development Program, Helen Clark.
Pashinyan welcomed Clark’s visit to Armenia and highly appreciated the activities of the GLF. Also, he expressed hope for Armenia’s close cooperation with this foundation.
In turn, Helen Clark noted that she is in Armenia to participate in the board meeting of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), and stated that the goal of the GLF is to support democratic political leadership and good governance by making the experience of former leaders available to current leaders.
During the meeting, the parties discussed matters related to expanding regional economic cooperation and unblocking communication routes, as well as the Crossroads of Peace and the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiatives.
