The United States welcomes US artificial intelligence (AI) company Firebird’s announcement of its initial $500 million investment in Armenia in partnership with Dell and NVIDIA, the US Embassy in Yerevan noted on Facebook.

“This important development advances the MOU establishing our AI and Semiconductor partnership signed at the August 8 Washington Summit and marks a powerful step forward in U.S.-Armenia trade and investment relations,” the embassy added.

As reported earlier, artificial intelligence (AI) technology–developing startup Firebird has received the US government’s approval to export Nvidia chips to Armenia. This will enable to implement the project to create a supercomputer in Armenia, which is part of the global initiative to expand AI infrastructure.
