VANADZOR. – Over 1,710 births were registered in Armenia’s Vanadzor city last year, as compared to 1910 births in 2010, head of obstetric and gynecological department of the medical center in Vanadzor city Aram Avalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am adding there were 16 twins in 2011.
This year also shows decrease in births. Over 125 babies were born in January, compared to 147 in the same period of last year.
