We want to assist Armenia’s economy, and we have agreed to take concrete steps to implement investment programs, to take concrete steps to expand and improve relations between business communities. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan stated this after the exchange of documents with visiting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenian, and added that the Kazakh-Armenian working group should contribute to the implementation of such mutually beneficial programs.
According to Tokayev, there is an opportunity to bilaterally develop partnerships between Armenia and Kazakhstan in industry, transport, logistics, digitalization, agriculture, and several other domains.
“We have attached particular importance to transport and transit opportunities. The new geopolitical situation in the South Caucasus creates opportunities to strengthen bilateral regional cooperation. Kazakhstan supports the Republic of Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace initiative, and we also emphasize that we are interested in participating in the Trump Route project. Such projects, the North-South project, as well as the Middle Corridor project, correspond to the interests of both countries and, consequently, transport cooperation will open up great opportunities for both countries,” the Kazakh president said.
