Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the chairman of the Mazhilis—the lower house—of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Koshanov, in the Kazakh capital Astana.
The interlocutors emphasized the high-level political dialogue and the holding of reciprocal visits between the two countries, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the PM’s office. Pashinyan and Koshanov stressed that active cooperation exists not only at the government level, but also at the parliamentary level. It was noted with satisfaction that the inter-parliamentary ties between Armenia and Kazakhstan are intensive.
Also, they addressed matters of regional significance. In this connection, they expressed a conviction that establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan will create new opportunities for developing cooperation and promoting trade and economic ties in the region.
