Ukraine will not abandon its constitutional obligation to join NATO in the future. This statement was made by Andriy Yermak, chief of the Ukrainian president’s staff, in an interview with Axios, commenting on the “peace plan” aimed at stopping the Russia-Ukraine war.
Yermak noted that Ukraine will not abandon its path to joining NATO. According to him, these are legally binding guarantees, UNIAN reports.
Yermak added that Washington has responded positively to the idea of formalizing them in an official agreement.
